R1 Completed, R2 In Progress

The sun has finally burned through all the cloud and all the Dornier's are flying fast. In fact, some are already on lift 12.

Skydive Hibaldstow sponsor the Satori Academy which has 10 teams which are being coached by National Champions Satori. Last night after the culmination of several thousand jumps, they had a group competition brief where several awards were handed out:

• Gareth Hicks from Satori Black (AA class) - Most improved team member
• Geroge Glass from Satori Orange (Rookie) - Article in the BPA magazine recording his experiences as part of the academy.
• Anne Flemming from Satori Green - Award for the best personal fitness. In fact she has been competing in marathons as a result of a desire to stay fit which is an important element in team performance.

Back to the news - in the AA class, the battle which has been ensuing all year in the GP's has continued. In first place after R1 is Hyrokkin with 16 points. Not far behind them are Raykipo with 14 points. It's also looking like a close battle between 1st and 8th place with only 3 points in it.
