Round 1 Completed

The dropzone has made great progess today and everyone has completed their R1. I thought it would be good to get some feedback from a few of the teams as to how they performed:

Volare Mike Carpenter “It feels so awesome not to have messed R1. The routine went to plan, so now we have to wait to see what the judges thought of it”.

Laura McLelland “4-way R1 which I am participating in for the girls went well considering we have done only 37 jumps and only our 2nd jump out of the otter. And in the 8-way with BritCHicks, the jump was really nice and had a good feeling. There was a wobbly block 5, but the recovery was really good. There was so many good things to take away from the jump”.
QFX  Paul Cooper “It went pretty good, the launch went nice and we took it slowly through the whole dive. It was exactly as we intended and we were not trying to beat any records, but just to have an easy break into the competition”.
Womens Accuracy Esther Reynolds “I got a 1cm on my R1 which I was really happy with. When I was coming into the final few feet, my canopy went off to the right, so I had to do a long reach with my left foot. Fortunately it was pretty accurate.”
Stikkos from BritChicks was kind enough to give me a few aerial shots over the Palm:
