If you looked at how many teams were registered on Wednesday, it was not looking good. However between then and now, there have been a lot of late registrations. In 2 categories this year, the competition is going to be super close.
So in the AAA established long-time team MicroClim8 have some competition on their hands in the form of The Ex-Presidents who are made up old VNE (for everyone who knows who they were a few years ago) and 4way champion skydivers. Looking at their credentials they could easily win, however they have also only done a grand total of 17 jumps over the last 2 days.
Also in the Freefly A are long time rivals Varial Freefly and Freefly Euphoria. Both have put a lot of effort into their training (in fact Euphoria only returned from a camp last night) and both know that its a selection year for the World Championships next year in Chicago. Judging will take an interesting turn with the addition of Killa (Adam Mattacola) who is a particularly capable freeflyer!
The competition brief starts as usual at 8 and after that, the draw for the various comps will be posted here.
