It's been a fair few years since we last finished on a Sunday and had the chance for the traditional Nationals Party, but it finally happened and it was a massive one.
Well done goes to the NFTO girls who although they came 4th with a 16.9 average on a hard draw, they qualified in the 4-way Female category. Great work!
In the jump off rounds for the Rookie class, the unbelievable happened - both RAFSPA Shadow and Firefly held their cool and scored 7 a piece. This left the judges no choice but to invoke the timing rule of the last common point and RAFSPA Shadow got it. This really is as close a margin as it gets.
Moving to the A class, the results of the silver medal position went RAFSPA Venom after team Bacchus had a spectacular funnel!
We will put a few more posts up here in due course with lots of pics from the medal ceremony processed by Rob Lloyd.
And until then, if you are interested in doing a scratch 8-way or artistics team, please please let us know on 01652 648837 or email stu@skydiving.co.uk. See you all next weekend.
