With the fantastic weather, everyone is keen to get in as many rounds as possible. As the saying goes, "make hay whilst the sun shines".
The competition is definately hotting up. Satori who have been training hard this season put in a fantastic 30 points (almost 31) on what was one of the fastest rounds in the AAA class. Pussy Gallore mustered up a 23 in time behind them in what is a very experienced team who have done far less training. I wouldn't call them a scratch team, but neither are they a 30 hours tunnel and 4 camps team either.
In the AA class, the Army team are the clear leaders at the moment scoring a 17 in round 1 (also one of the fastest rounds in the draw) with a 10 in round two (excluding 2 busts). Right behind them are Jet Blondes who some of you may remember last year from the A class. They put an impressive 15 points and 9 points (also excluding a double bust) in rounds 1 & 2.
One of the most impressive things at the dropzone is the speed at which the operation is running. Its like a machine. 56 loads have taken by of 11:50! Now at the time of writing, Dornier white load 23 is on a 10 minute call.
